The Sealey Challenge Day 17: Orange Roses by Lucy Ives

I believe that this collection has strong imagery and uses white space well. I find it hanging close to the extreme lyrical (versus narrative) and I found myself wanting the language of the lyric. It makes a contrasting hybrid, but I felt myself separated because of the language being used. Worth the read and beautiful--I feel my own biases cloud my judgement. I am not the poet and new aesthetics are created all the time.
