Sealey Challenge Day 14: "Drumming for the Dead" and "Chasing a Cure" by Gabby Gilliam

I wish I had a lot of time to read each day and just ENJOY. I decided that these two books are going on the enjoyment pile. No, not finished. These novellas create a novel once paired. There is a lot of intrigue and horror, and real life (yikes!) is starting to imitate art. There are parasites that are being thawed from the permafrost, husks, partial cures and not a lot of time to save the world as we know it!

There is always a great narrative pace and a terrific sense of balance with Gabby's work. I'll be reading and re-reading much more closely after the challenge is over!
