Perennial Death: Fantastic Read
I was fortunate enough to meet Rosaura Irene at the university she attends. I support and buy zombie stories and novels, but I usually do not read and review them. She discussed with me that the idea for the story came because one of her younger family members had to live through Covid-19. Reading zombie material will never be the same for me because of this.
In Perennial Death, life, flowers and growth are paired with the apocalypse. Questions like is it better to be with family even if you are all dead versus being alone and healthy? What is safety? How do we process grief?
So, wonderfully written!! I am grateful that she confided that she published this beautiful piece.
